1999 www.insure.ie launched as a concept site at a motor show in the RDS. Still insurers resist as the belief is that insurance products cannot be sold on the web

2000 www.firstcalldirect.ie launched as Ireland’s first insurance quote and buy website

2000 Finally www.insure.ie launches as Ireland’s first comparative quotation web site. MDC give an equity split to a broker to ensure the insurance companies are on board with guaranteed rates

2001 www.firstcalldirect.co.uk launched

2001 MDC’s web site hosting facilities expanded to handle the increased online traffic and sales

2001 InsureIT live with LANSA Integrator to offer Java XML Services to insurance companies and brokers

2004 FBD Insurance Ireland’s largest Irish-owned Insurance Company, have selected InsureIT from MDC to provide motor insurance via the Web.

2006 First Customer in Australia for MDC’s InsureIT eCommerce Framework

2006 MindTree has partnered with LANSA to offer InsureIT

2007 Glennon Insurance Brokers select InsureIT to replace their existing quotation and policy administration systems.

2008 Car insurance costs to fall as Ryanair enters market. FBD and Ryanair join forces to create Nononsense.ie built using MDC’s InsureIT application

2008 Glennon Insurance Brokers go live with Private Motor, Household and Commercial Vehicle products. The InsureIT solution is used for Call Centre processing and full Document Production and Management.
